BlogCon is wordplay between the words blog and conference. The subtitle Rising Above the Ordinary is a creative play for the conference purpose which is to help bloggers create their identity. BlogCon aims to gather students who have the passion for blogging and develop their potentials in the said field through talks and panel discussions from renowned bloggers.

The event will be held at the Beato Angelico AVR, 3rd floor, Beato Angelico Building, University of Santo Tomas, Manila on October 11, 2014.

Program Overview
BlogCon: Rising Above the Ordinary will include plenary talks, panel discussions, and workshop from blog professionals of different fields.

BlogCon's theme is centered on arming student bloggers with their personal blog identity. The event talks, discussions and workshops all aim to help them face the challenge of standing out from all the noisy feeds which fills the Web today.
